According to the Oxford Desk Dictionary, the word love means deep affection. Romeo and Juliet was written by William Shakespeare. In Romeo and Juliet tow young lovers fight against an ancient family feud, Montagues vs. Capulets. Friar Lawerance, in attempt to end the feud, marries Romeo and Juliet. After the battle, where both Mercutio and Tybalt die. Romeo is banished. Juliet fakes her death in attempt to reunite with her love. Romeo believes she is really dead and kills himself beside her. When Juliet awakens to her dead Romeo, she kills herself to with with him. In the end, after their deaths, their family feud ends. While Romeo is very romantic and caring his immaturity leads to his death.

Throughout the play Romeo is romantic. For instance, Romeo is romantic when he first meets Juliet at the party and he kisses her. This is shown when Romeo says Then moves not while my prayers effect I take. Thus from my lips, by thine my sin is purgd (Act I.v.104-105). Romeo is also romantic when he says he will marry her. Another way he is romantic is when he takes his own life to be with her. Romeo is very romantic.

In the play Romeo is caring. One way he is caring is when he secretly marries Juliet. Another way Romeo is caring is when he feels horrible about killing Tybalt. This is shown when Romeo says O I am fortunes fool (Act III. i 132). Also, he is caring when he puts Paris near Juliet in the tomb. In conclusion, during the play Romeo is caring.

In Romeo and Juliet Romeo acts very immature. One way he acts immature is how he rushes to marry Juliet. Another way he acts immature is when he asks the Friar to kill him when he is banished. This is shown when he says ha, banishment? Be merciful, say death; for exile hath more terror in his look, much more than death. Do not say banishment (Act III. Iii 10-11). Lastly, he is immature in the play is when he kills himself before talking to Friar Lawerance. In Romeo and Juliet, Romeo is very immature.

In conclusion, while Romeos very romantic and caring, his immaturity leads to his death. Romeo is very romantic towards Juliet and caring towards Juliet and friends, but his immaturity in not going to the Friar before killing himself. What is love?
