Romeo and Juliet was a very compassionate play. Although the passion was foolish, the teens though they were in love. Romeo and Juliet were way too young to know the meaning. Also they had only spent a few hours together before they declared their love for one another. They were willing to risk whole life for each other. Basically the story is about two young teenagers willing to risk their lives for each other.

Most of this chaos was caused by their last names. The Montague and Capulet family had been feuding for years. Romeo and Juliet knew their families would disapprove. Rebellion. Animosity couldve made the passion evolve and animosity is a foolish factor.

The passion was also foolish because they were way to young to know what true love really is. Its like the saying a goat in sheeps clothing, with true love being the sheep and infatuation being the goat. I think they had love for each other but I dont think they were in love. Although obviously there was some passion towards the other but it was still foolish. They were willing to give their whole lives for each other while theyve barley lived it. At the end the passion grew stronger (although still foolish).

Rebellion couldve caused a lot of this foolish passion. When teenagers are pushed one way, especially by their parents, they tend to pull towards another. For example, even before her falling in love, the more her father wanted her to marry Paris the more she hated him. After her father told her she was worthless she wanted Romeo even more, Her father would say or do something she disagreed with and it would only make her want to deceive him more. Juliets rebellion eventually turned into passion, but this was a passion built on rebellion, which is also foolish.

The main idea of the story was the passion or love they shared. How could an individual truly be passionate towards someone theyve known only a few hours? Especially when he or she is only thirteen. A lot of the foolish passion was risen when they had been pushed to do something they didnt want to do. They were willing to end their whole lives while they were so young they barely lived it. In conclusion, even thou some passion may have grown towards the end; it was still foolish based on the things it was grown upon.
