Both the twilight zone episode andThe lord of the flies is told by an anonymous third-person narrator who conveys the events of the episode novel without commenting on the action or intruding into the story. The narrator speaks in the third person, primarily focusing on Ralphs point of view but following Jack and Simon in certain episodes. The narrator is wise and gives us access to the characters inner thoughts. Free from the rules that adult society formerly forced on them, the boys stuck on the island struggle with the conflicting human instincts that exist within each of themthe instinct to work toward civilization and order and the instinct to descend into cruelty, violence, and chaos. Piggy and commander are similarities because of the stay civilized in both the story to have law and order but the problem with both of them not as strong as the savagery in the other people. Jack and Corey are most likely with the similarities they share jack kills for leadership and Corey kills for water. They both kill for what they want. I would have to say that ralph and Pearson are same because they both give order and is the leader of the group.
The boys assemble on the beach. In the election for leader, Ralph defeats Jack, who is furious when he loses. As the boys explore the island, tension grows between Jack, who is interested only in hunting, and Ralph, who believes most of the boys efforts should go toward building shelters and maintaining a signal fire. When rumors surface that there is some sort of beast living on the island, the boys grow fearful, and the group begins to divide into two camps supporting Ralph and Jack, respectively. Ultimately, Jack forms a new tribe altogether, fully putting himself in the middle of the hunt. Simon encounters the Lord of the Flies in the forest glade and realizes that the beast is not a physical entity but rather something that exists within each boy on the island. When Simon tries to approach the other boys and take this message to them, they fall on him and kill him savagely.
Virtually all the boys on the island abandon Ralph and Piggy and descend further into savagery and chaos. When the other boys kill Piggy and destroy the conch shell, Ralph flees from Jacks tribe and encounters the naval officer on the beach.
A manned space flight crash lands on what the astronauts believe to be an unknown asteroid. Their expectations of survival or rescue are bleak. Only four of the crew survive, one of whom is barely alive. After he dies, the three men left , Corey, Donlin, and Pierson decide to go out into the desert to see if there is anything that might help their chances of survival. When Corey and Donlin reconvene, it seems that Pierson is dead and Corey stole the water supply from his dead body. Donlin, the commanding officer, forces Corey at gunpoint to lead him to Pierson's body.
They find Pierson, still barely alive, who with his last bit of strength draws a primitive diagram in the sand with his finger. Corey then kills Donlin and sets out alone, confident that he will survive longer now that he has all of the water supply. Corey later sees a sign for Reno, and then sees telephone poles, which were what Pierson had attempted to draw before he died. Realizing that they had in fact never left Earth and that he had killed his partners for nothing, Corey breaks down crying.
