A memorable book for many outlooks on life

A memorable book comes with many things for a mind to take in and learn from. Reading many things can impact a persons life in many different ways. It all depends on how someone takes in what is being read and how it changes their way of thought. My life was impacted by the book Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom.

One way this book changed me is by helping me understand others. Morrie talks to Mitch about how you shouldnt judge someone just because of the way they act. You should take your time and fully learn to figure someone out before jumping to conclusions on knowing them. Ive taken this to mind and try and understand where a person is coming from. Also you must understand why people do certain things. For instance, Mitchs brother Peter isolates himself from his family searching for a treatment or cure for his cancer. At the time Mitch doesnt understand why his brother wanted nothing to do with his family. Slowly Morrie helps teach Mitch that people have reasons for what they do and he has to try and understand. In understanding others you must see beyond there imperfections. Ive learned that no one is perfect. Everyone has committed mistakes. I myself have made mistakes in the past that have made me stop and think no one should judge me and I should not judge others for what little mistakes they have made.

Furthermore, Tuesdays with Morrie has changed my way of viewing death. In the book Morrie shows Mitch that there is no reason to fear death. My thoughts about death are now that there is no reason to fear it because either way you cant escape it. People should make the best out of the time they have. Time to me is precious. You never know how much time you have left in life. Although Morrie is sick and is close to dying he shows Mitch that there are other things more important then worrying about dying. I agree with Morrie because there are so many things to life you should devote yourself to instead of worrying about when youre going to die. Death itself is a part of life you must go through in the end. Nothing lives on forever.

Finally, my last lesson learned is acceptance. Reading Tuesdays with Morrie helped me learn you must accept your doings, forgive, and move on. You mustnt hold on to anything against anyone because one day you might want to forgive a person but, it might be too late. Also you must not envy the thought of not having everything others might have. Its a waste of time. Ive learned to accept the fact that not everything is fair in life and if you want something you must work hard to achieve it. Morrie also provides to Mitch how you must accept the help of others. In my thoughts you will always need those around you from the start to finish.

In conclusion, Tuesday with Morrie was memorable to me because it made a big impact on the way I viewed different things. It gave me a different outlook on way things in life are suppose to be viewed. I chose Tuesdays with Morrie to be a memorable book for the way it teaches someone something new and gives the readers a second thought into what they thought was right. It never hurts to see something a second way.
