The New Testament of the Bible Study Guide

The New Testament of the Bible by Religious Document

The New Testament is the second part of the Christian Bible chronicling the life and teachings of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and his disciples. The Bible claims Jesus was the son of God, born to the virgin Mary. Jesus performed miracles that fed the hungry and healed the sick, teaching his followers to love thy neighbor and enemy, guidelines of pacifism, forgiveness, charity, renunciation of earthly posessions and humility. Jesus was crucified by the Romans and, after three days in the tomb, was resurrected.
