90 Minutes in Heaven is a book by Don Piper published in 2004 about his near-death experience in 1989. While driving home in Texas, Baptist minister Don Piper was crushed in an accident with a semi while on a bridge. The paramedics were unable to find any sign of life in Don and waited for a medical examiner. As a pastor prayed over him, Don claims to have gone to heaven, experiencing the sublime and meeting dead family members. The book also follows Don's life afterwards, which was changed immensely.
