The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a novel about Christopher, a teenage boy with autism, who attempts to discover the murderer of a dog. After finding Mrs. Sheers' dog dead, Christopher learns in his investigation that his mother left his father for Mr. Sheers. After fighting with his father, Christopher travels to London where he is reunited with his mother. After learning his father killed the dog, slowly slowly begins to rebuild his trust. The story's narrative style is reflective of Christopher's autism.
