Howard's End Study Guides

  • Howard's End

Howard's End is the story of three families living in England at the beginning of the twentieth century. The struggling Basts, the wealthy Wilcoxes, and the immigrant Schlegel siblings form the narrative heart of the story. The story explores English morality and the rules of social interaction and stratification through the lenses of the members of the three families. The narrative sees the characters explore their own morality and learn to work functionally together.
