The story is of course, about a pair of star-crossed lovers. Two teenagers pursue their love for each other despite the fact that their families have been at odds with each other. The story combines sword fighting, disguise, misunderstanding, tragedy, humor and some of the most romantic language found in literature all in the name of true love.

The two powerful families the Montagues and the Capulets have been feuding with each other for years, old Capulet, Juliets father, throws a party to which he invites all his friends. The Montagues are not invited of course, but Romeo devises a plan to get a look at Rosaline: the young girl he has been pursuing. He disguises himself and slips into the party. Once inside, his attention is stolen, not by Rosaline but by Juliet. He instantly falls in love. This is ironic because in the previous scenes he expresses his undying love for Rosaline and just the sight of Juliet makes him fall in love with her. But he is also disappointed to find out that Juliet is a Capulet. Juliet also notices Romeo too, but she is unaware that he is a member of the hated Montagues.

Later when she discovers that he is a Montague she goes out onto her balcony to tell the stars about her strong love: this is where the phrase, star-crossed lovers are achieved from. At the same time when Juliet expresses herself to the stars, Romeo is below in the bushes, he overhears Juliet confess her love for him in the heavens. No longer able to control his powerful feelings Romeo reveals himself to her and admits that he feels the same

This is where the tragic love story really takes a twist. Romeo and Juliet, although at a young age feel deep emotions for each other. Which eventually leads to the death of both of them.

When Romeo gets involved with Tybalt this is where the Capulets hatred gets more intense for Romeo and his family with him killing Tybalt. Juliet get wrong information that Romeo is dead and this unfortunate message lead to her killing herself with Romeos dagger. Later when Romeo finds her dead he too takes his life. This again entails the deep love that they felt for each other. You could be 15 or 50 years but Romeo and Juliets epic story shows us that love is love and it has no limitations.

The death of the lovers could have been avoided if the two families just got along. Now that their children are dead then they start to mend the post and erase the hatred that they once had for each other.
