Dragonwings is a 1975 historical novel by Laurence Yep about the experience of Chinese Americans in California in the beginning of the 20th century. The novel tells the story of Moon Shadow Lee, who grew up in China and whose father moved to the United States to work. Eventually Moon Shadow's relative, Hand Clap, returns to China and brings him back to the United States where he is reunited with his father.
